Grohl Fruhburgunder Dalheim Trocken, 2022 santa maria valley Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%)Mulberry, spice intermingle with cranberry, hickory and pine. Dried herbs, Morello cherry, sage play in the scene. Palate mellows with time, starting a bit lively but with air smooths into a lush glass with a bright core. Fruhburgunder is an early ripening, small berried mutation of Pinot Noir found in Germany. Weingut Grhl is a family winery, growing wine in the Rheinhessen since 1625, currently 13th generation.
