Plants produce bushy clumps of thick, leathery evergreen leaves. Flower stalks appear in early spring, bearing showy cup shaped blooms. This strain features single blooms in deep burgundy red on red stems. The leaves are marbled and have a pink tinge to the marbling as they emerge. Site these where they will stay for many years, since the plants resent being disturbed.
