The quality of fruit is ripe and a touch sweet

Perrot Minot, Gevrey Chambertin other_regions_italy There is a wonderfully refined(from La Justice and Les Seuvres). There is enough reduction to mask the underlying fruit at present. The palate impression of the tautly muscular middle weight flavors is completely different as this is quite firm and robust with good power that carries over to the balanced and impressively persistent finish. This is certainly Gevrey in character but thanks to the relatively fine grained tannins it avoids any sense of rusticity. Recommended. (89 92)
